Testimonials - Clark Timber Frame Homes
Brendan & Mary Power,
We first met The Clarke Group at the Self Build
Exhibition in Dublin. We priced around a few timber
frame companies before we settled on one company as
we had a particular budget to spend on our kit.
We were happy that Clarke Homes built our home as they
were the most reasonable and most importantly we were
satisfied with the quality of their product and the
service they provided to us through every stage of the
process right through from deciding to purchase to erection
and completion of our home. Clarke Homes in-house
engineers were always on hand to give advice when we
required as they advised us that we would not require
velux windows in our sunroom as there would be enough
light from our windows which saved us an unnecessary
cost at the time. The salesman was always helpful
by keeping us informed of all stages of the project
and answering our queries in a prompt manner.
We were also happy with the speed of erection as it
was erected in less than four days without any issues
or delays.
We have passed on referrals to others whom have since dealt
with Clarke's in purchasing a Clarke Home. The construction
company also involved in our project has seen the benefits
to be gained on selecting a Clarke Home and has also made
recommendations to others based on their own observation and
experience of dealing with Clarke's. We are very happy
with our timber frame home as we have made savings on oil
costs from our last home which was a traditional concrete
house making our home fuel efficient & environmentally
friendly. We also purchased our yellow sandstone cills
and quoins from Clarke's as part of a complete package which
I found saved me time and hassle. From our overall experience
of having dealt with the Clarke group we would certainly recommend
anyone considering timber frame to purchase from Clarke Homes.
Orla Gray,
We contacted Clarke Homes after a friend recommended
us to contact the company after they had used a Clarke Timber
frame Kit to build their own home and were very happy with
the quality of kit and service they had received. So
on this recommendation we contacted Clarke's to build our
home - a 2,500sq ft four bedroom dormer bungalow. After
receiving our quote from Clarke's and meeting with their sales
representative on a number of occasions we decided that we
wanted them to build our timber frame home as we felt their
kit was of a higher standard to anything else we had seen.
I was extremely happy with the quality of our kit and the
service I received from the sales representative throughout
the process of planning and erecting our home. I would
recommend Clarke Homes to anyone who is thinking of building
a timber frame home as I myself would use Clarke's again if
I ever was building another home.
Ray McTeague,
After searching on the internet for timber
frame manufacturers I came across the Clarke Homes website.
I contacted the company and soon after posted Clarke's
the plans of my 5 bedroom home I planned to build.
After a lot of research we decided to go with Clarke
Timber Frame as we were happy with the price they quoted
to us and also the quality of their product as we looked
at various kits from other companies and felt Clarke
Homes was of a higher standard to anything we saw.
Throughout the project Clarke's Sales Representative
was very helpful towards us and was always a good source
of advice. The benefits we have found of going
timber frame is that we didn't need our heating system
on as long as normal as the heat held within the house
for longer. We also found during the building
process we could time table each stage i.e. windows
and doors allowing our schedule to move efficiently
as Clarke's delivered our kit on time and when agreed.
We are very happy with the excellent service and efficient
delivery we received from Clarke Homes.
James Beattie,
I first heard of Clarke Homes through a friend who
had heard about Clarke's Timber Frame based in Lisnaskea.
I built a 4 bedroom rectory style house with sunroom, ground
floor room with en-suite suitable for a disabled occupier
or as a sitting room, with each of the four bedrooms having
an en-suite which will accommodate for Bed & Breakfast
accommodation. I also built our garage in timber frame
with a 1st floor apartment. The heating
system in the house is a conventional system with a condenser
oil fired boiler. I decided to build my home with a
Clarke Timber Frame Kit as I was impressed with the quality
of their product and felt they had the best insulation qualities.
I also purchased our window cills from Clarke's which was
convenient as it was one less product to shop around for meaning
I could purchase both products from the same company.
I was very happy with the speed at which my house was erected
and felt the staff at Clarke's were very helpful in getting
things sorted during the planning process and after the house
was erected. The Sales Representative was very helpful
and polite and a credit to the company.
